Margaret Hodge was leader of Islington Council during a child abuse scandal in the 1980's. A paedophile at the centre of the scandal went on to abuse children across three continents. When she was alerted to a Radio 4 investigation she complained to the Chairman of the BBC. In the letter she attacks the former child abuse victim as an ‘extremely disturbed person’
